Soprano Madison Williams is currently pursuing her Performance Certificate in Vocal Performance at the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver, where she studies with Heidi Melton. She has performed such roles as Pamina in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Amore in Monteverdi’s L’incoronzione di Poppea, Sister Anne in Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites, and Nella in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. Madison has also appeared as a soprano soloist in Handel’s Messiah with Credo Orchestra. Her training has included participation at Opera Steamboat’s Opera Artist Institute, Miami Music Festival, the Oberlin in Italy program, CSNY in June, and L.A.’s SongFest. Madison holds a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver, where she was the recipient of the prestigious Robert and Judi Newman Fellowship, and a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Oberlin College Conservatory of Music.
